Automatic Investment Plan

1. Automatic Investment Plan

1.1 Automatic Investment Plan

An automatic investment plan (AIP)  is an investment program that allows investors to contribute money to an investment account at regular intervals to be invested in a pre-set strategy or portfolio. For instance, you may invest 1,000 USD in selected funds on the 1st day of every month to spread capital and reduce overall investment risks.

1.2 Redemptions

During the fund's normal opening period, fixed deposits can still be bought and redeemed at any time.

2. Set up an automatic  investment plan

2.1 Automatic investment account

Securities Account as payment account to create automatic investment plans are currently supported.

2.2 Frequency of investment

Four payment schedules are available currently: monthly, biweekly, weekly, daily.

2.3 Failed to invest

The investment would fail when you have insufficient cash in the paying account.

2.4 Rebuy after a failed investment

You can initiate a rebuy for a failed investment plan on the investment details page. For terminated investment plans, you cannot initiate a rebuy.

2.5 Invest now

When creating an automatic investment plan, there is an option: "Invest Now".

1) Not selecting "Invest now" means that investments will be initiated according to the plan based on the payment frequency.

2) Selecting "Invest now" means that when you create a plan, you buy immediately to enjoy the fixed income in advance, and subsequent investments will be initiated according to the plan.

3. Payment

3.1 Payment

The debit date is usually the date selected when creating the payment plan, but when there is a non-trading day, the debit will be postponed to the trading day.

The following items can be modified: payment amount and investment frequency.

4.2 Number of Modifications

There is no limit to the number of times each payment plan is being modified.

Note: Modifications cannot be made within a locked period on the debit date, but can be made after the transaction is confirmed.

5. Suspension of payments

5.1 Suspension

You may suspend the payment plan in progress at any time, provided that it is not within the lock-up period.

5.2 Reinstatement

A suspended payment can be reinstated at any time.

A terminated payment plan cannot be reinstated, but you may start a new payment plan. Multiple payment plans are supported for a single fund.
